November 16, 2017Hi Mark, Thank you for sharing your experience so far. Yes, I do have a few tips to offer. One is that if you can find a practice partner and go through the exercises with each other, this can enrich the experience. It gets a little bit closer to people being gathered together in a training room all working together. My experience is that each person’s unconscious learns from the others in the room and gains from it.
A second tip is to let you know that I also experienced this when I began doing these exercises. I sensed “very little if anything” at first, and for that reason I almost didn’t recognize the power of this method. And now I will ask you a question. Where are you finding the ‘i’s located? People who find the ‘i’s located in space outside of their physical body are less likely to actually experience a feeling difference at the beginning. If they do feel something it’s more likely to be subtle. (There can be other reasons for not feeling much at first, but this is a main one.) If you choose to keep going and explore what happens if/when you do these practices daily over time, then my experience is that it’s inevitable that you will begin experiencing stronger shifts in your body at some point. That’s what has happened for me. People who have more “layers” and begin more dissociated, as I definitely was, often don’t feel much subjectively at first. Yet something is happening… and if you are actually doing the steps, then most likely the transformation is beginning to happen.

a couple of questions, which daily practices are you talking about…..the dissolving of the “I’s exercise mainly?
also, how do you do the exercises when you are doing them on your own? would recording the instructions be worth a try?
