I don't go farther because he quickly and congruently agrees. I don’t want him to experience me as pushing him or creating a sense that he “should” complete the integration now.

At 23:55 Connirae describes and self demonstrates..."for me now it is all happening simultaneously; The falling out, the falling in, and simultaneously the just is-ness. It is a surrendering in all directions. It happens this way because I have many times offered the invitation to fall out, to surrender out, melt, and to fall in. and it is always a feeling for 'Is this what wants to happen?' "

    Reclaiming inner authority is an incredibly powerful application of this amazing process. This is the first time I’ve experienced awareness flowing into me rather than the dissolving into awareness. It feels like a lot of internal shifting take place.

    I am not a native speaker, all other videos I could understand 95% and find out the remaining 5 % but this video I can understand only 70 % and have difficulties to find out the rest. Could you please put english subtitles to it? Thank You Marianna

    Thank You Connirae for your great work!
    I can understand this stuff now much better, I did this process a lot of times, and found tremendous peace. I also studied a lot of videos of Mooji, an advaita guru. I found the most descriptive video of him about recognizing von Presence and the “little i” is this:
    He did here the steps completely from the “person” =little i, ego through to recognizing Presence and our own Bliss. If he would know the steps you described, there would be more awakened people! Sometimes he interrupts the process, because he don’t know, that there can be precise steps helping people to get bigger what they think they are, I wish You would meet each other and through unifying eastern and western psychology could this peace multiply and be recognized more often. Even Mooji could use your steps! (It’s my opinion.)
    My question now is, can we describe all kind of fear/ anxiety that arise like this reclaiming the inner authority process? Even the fear of death?
    I often experience, that the little “i” is in my head. This feels like my consciousness. If I (=i) think, my consciousness is only in the head, the feeling/ expectation/fear/believe also comes, conscious or unconscious, that I will disappear, when I die, because the feeling of “I” is part of the head (and it settles when I go to sleep). In this video-process and in the Wholeness process, I experienced also that my body is in my Consciousness and the belief, that my consciousness would only be in my body/head is completely false. But other times, it seems to be completely true, that my Consciousness is depending on my body/head/brain, then it comes also fear, conscious or unconscious, that one time, I will die and disappear. If the recognized “size” of Consciousness is bigger then the body, then fear disappears, also fear of death. I had this experience some times, but I can’t come in this state all the time. If I do the process in the evening, then the good feeling, the wholeness feeling melts away also, when I go to sleep (I wonder why, if I go to sleep in complete peace and relaxed state, but could it be, that sleeping is a process of shrinking “I” to “i”? … in the morning i have to do the work again, but often, I don’t have the time for it until next evening… So therefore I searching for a process , that I could do from feeling the “i” sense in the head through to the “I” sense All Around in a blink of an eye. Sometimes this process takes me half an hour, or more and If I am in a hurry, like in the morning time, even if I have this time of half an hour, I can’t take my attention from the clock, and I can’t slow down, or I am too sleepy. The problem is, if I want to do the process quickly, it doesn’t work… Do you have any tips?

      Marianna, first I thank you for your thoughts on the value of “East and West unifying”. As you, I also appreciate and respect Mooji as a teacher. And I agree that the Wholeness work offers a “precise and specific teaching” of what the “Eastern” teachers are speaking of. Many students of meditation have told me it is giving them an easier way to do what the eastern teachings describe.

      Now to your questions…
      About fears: Yes, in my experience, all the kinds of fears can be processed well with the Wholeness methods. Including (and perhaps especially) the fear of death.
      There can be a lot of variation in how this processing unfolds, depending upon the person and how their psyche is organized. Sometimes fears dissolve using the basic wholeness method. Sometimes the authority process is important in fully integrating the elements of a fear. And sometimes the methods that I teach on Day 3 and 4 are significant. (Those aren’t in streaming video form yet, but we’re getting there.)

      You describe sometimes having the “belief” that the small ‘I’ is dependent on the body, so that if the small ‘I’ would disappear, perhaps you would die.
      It isn’t unusual to experience something like this momentarily when doing the Wholeness work. There can be the feeling just before the ‘I’ dissolves, that “Maybe I won’t exist anymore.” It is easiest to move through this if we don’t get too concerned about the meaning or the philosophy. It’s OK to experience this fear. And we can begin to trust (through our experience), that the only thing that disappears is the tension. It’s just like if our fist is tense, and then we allow it to relax. When we allow the fist to relax and open, nothing essential is lost. The only thing that goes is the tension. And what happens through this is that the aliveness of the hand is more available. We can use the hand for anything now. And the same is true of consciousness. When the contractions of consciousness dissolve, our aliveness becomes more available and responsive in the moment.

      From what you are describing, I am guessing there may be an extra opportunity for you (beyond what I said above), in what you are experiencing. Most likely there are extra ‘i’ layers involved that will be quite useful to notice and integrate. For example, in the moment you believe “‘i’ am my body”, “where is the ‘i’ that believes that?” In the moment you believe “‘I’ am NOT my body”, where is the one who believes that? Perhaps there is an ‘i’ that wants to have this all resolved – to “KNOW for certain that I am not my body.” “the ‘i’ that wants to believe that there is a universal consciousness that will live on.”

      This can be a useful part of the process. We hear spiritual teachings that sound good, such as “you are not your body, you are a vast consciousness” and using our small ‘i’s, we want to “believe” in this. So finding the small ‘i’s that think they need to have a belief to be secure, this can be useful. We invite these, too, to dissolve and melt.
      As we do more of this processing, there is less need for beliefs in anything, including knowing whether or not we die when the physical body dies.

      Someone once asked a famous Zen teacher, “Master, what happens after we die?” The teacher said “I don’t know.” The student protested, “But you are a Zen master, how can you not know this?” And the teacher replied, “Yes, but I am not a dead Zen master.”

      As this teaching points to, as students we can want to “know” things. We believe “knowing” these things will help us. Yet maybe it’s coming to be at peace in the moment, recognizing so much is unknown. And beautiful at the same time.:)

      About sleep, and “is sleep the process of shrinking the ‘I’ (the vast self) to ‘i’ (the contracted sense of self).
      As we relax into sleep, this relaxation often makes it easier for us to notice any small ‘i’s that are present. When we relax into sleep, it also usually becomes easier for those small ‘i’s to relax/dissolve.
      Occasionally when someone has been doing certain spiritual practices for a long time, they may actually develop an “‘i’ who does the practice”, and who is identified with doing the practice. There can be a belief, for example, that experiencing myself as expanded is “better than” being small, and a practice of experiencing myself as expanded can be based on subtle effort.
      It is different when we experience ourselves as vast based on relaxing of effort, than when there is subtle effort used to “create” the experience of vastness.
      In the process of relaxing into sleep, the “one creating the experience of expansion through subtle effort” may begin to relax, and the first experience then is becoming aware of the contracted ‘i’s.
      I would need to explore with you more in person to learn more about what may be happening for you. It may be different. If this resonates, then the way through it is to welcome and notice each of these aspects. The ‘I’ that wants/needs to be vast, the ‘I’ that is actually contracted, etc. Sometimes it can feel like “a step back” to dissolve this one who creates the vastness. We have been thinking the vastness is good. Yet when the vastness is based on subtle effort, for us to actually experience the “real” vastness that just IS (and is not created by our thoughts), this too needs to be allowed to dissolve.

      Your last question, “if I want to do the process quickly, it doesn’t work.”
      Here the solution is in what you just said. “if I want to do the process quickly…” means the ‘i’ that needs to be worked with first is the “one who wants to do the process quickly”. Nothing will work until this one is noticed and integrated.

      Marianna, I appreciate the way you are really taking these methods as a practice, exploring, and asking questions to find out how they fit for you. This is what’s essential for the Wholeness Work to help each of us evolve in our own unique way.
