Questions & Answers about "What's Missing" exercise — and more.

Q: Do we lose motivation when we use this method?

A: No, but our style of motivation might be radically different.

  • Enlightenment is being in touch with reality.
  • Reality is what’s still there even if you don’t believe in it.
  • Why would I want to feel satisfied if I actually don’t have something yet?

    Hi another question
I hear the patter about strategies and elements we are hiding / avoiding/ have issues with
yet I couldn’t get the link to the missing part. In the sense that you seemed to be talking about
    different issues Connirae.
I got a bit confused…….. does that mean one just uses the same method and apply it to a ‘driver’ or ‘problem’ in the same way as one does to a ‘missing’ feeling ?
    Thanks

Hi Sue, I’m not sure if I understand what you are asking here. But yes, you can basically use this same approach with whatever you find in your experience. Any inner division of any sort, there are always perspectives and reactions that can be integrated, plus the basic experience itself can be integrated.
There are more subtleties that I think will be best taught by adding a training day or two, so that the learning can be experiential. I’m planning to add an optional “Day 3” to the August Wholeness Training in Boulder, so that there is time to teach more of this.

Thanks Connirae I’m laughing… not surprised you didn’t quite understand .. I mean I was confused so what I wrote was confused too !!!!
Anyway this concept that you outline is cool eh ?! through the day I have used it on anything I became aware of.
It made me realise how little I am conscious when something is actually an inner division… keeping on just slogging through .. when actually its an issue that can be resolved .

After today its clear to me that what I found confusing was all the talk around things.. like I get the sensation and image very quickly and start working with it.. then you would talk around and about that to explain it , and it brought me back out,but I didn’t know where to .. like I started trying to follow your new options and in so doing lost where I was so then couldn’t get the connections going….. I’ll just have to have cloth ears when I listen in again !!!

  • Thank you, Connirae for you contribution and Service. The Wholeness Process is the best thing happened in the NLP therapy/coaching application that happened scince the time of the Core Transformation. Thank you.

Evgeny, thank you for your comment! It sounds like you are using it well.:)

      • Dear, Conniere! Thank you for the Wholeness Process one more one more and more more times. There are no words that I can express my appreciation and my eagerness to share the Wholeness Process. This month I am finishing my second Master Practitioner Training and I would like to give your great work to the new future Master Practitioners in Kyiv, Ukraine (the country that had 3 month revolution this year and that is attacked by Russian these days). I would life to ask your permission and blessing to do this. I hope that our common practice of the Wholeness Process will bring more peace and love to this part of our planet.

Dear Evgeny, I am just now seeing your comment here. Yes, PLEASE DO share the Wholeness Process with your friends in the Ukraine. It is my hope also that practice of this work can bring more peace and love – and creative solutions – really everywhere. And I feel special affection in this wish for those places on our planet that are right now struggling. I am so happy that you would like to bring the Wholeness Work to your friends and colleagues in the Ukraine! Evgeny, there is no restriction on people using the Wholeness Process in their work with others. I ask that people keep the copyrights on the handouts, and let others know the source of the work, as a general practice of respect back. I also appreciate if you let others know about the online Wholeness resources. If you have some other form of sharing in mind for the material, maybe we can talk about it through email. We’re working these things out as we understand each situation – I definitely want to find ways this material is available where it is needed and wanted. Blessings to you!
